Pumpkin Smoothie

Amazing! Healthy and Filling, but you think you're eating dessert.


Serves 4


1 cup roasted pumpkin
1 cup plain unsweetened soy milk
1/4 cup hemp protein powder
4-6 fresh dates pitted
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves


  • Cut pumpkin in half, remove seeds, place on an oiled sheet pan, and roast cut-side down at 375 degrees, for 45 minutes (or until the pumpkin is soft when pricked with a fork. When cool to the touch, scoop out the flesh and store in fridge until ready to use. (Canned fresh pumpkin may be substituted.)
  • Add all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. You can also toss in a few ice-cubes if you'd like a super cold smoothie.
  • Pour into 2 glasses, and enjoy!
