Spicy "Chana" (Chickpeas)
I great alternative to Potato Chips, this is a great savory snack for any time.
2 cups chickpeas, dried
2 tablespoon coconut oil
3 cups filtered water
to taste ground black pepper
to taste sea salt
1 teaspoon red chili pepper
- Boil Chickpeas and cook till tender, about 45 minutes.
- Drain, dry, toss in oil and spices.
- Spread evenly on baking sheets, leaving space between individual kernels.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or till completely dried.
- Serve hot or cold.
