Spicy "Chana" (Chickpeas)

I great alternative to Potato Chips, this is a great savory snack for any time.

Serves 4

Ingredients:

2 cups chickpeas, dried
2 tablespoon coconut oil
3 cups filtered water
to taste ground black pepper
to taste sea salt
1 teaspoon red chili pepper

Directions:

  • Boil Chickpeas and cook till tender, about 45 minutes.
  • Drain, dry, toss in oil and spices.
  • Spread evenly on baking sheets, leaving space between individual kernels.
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or till completely dried.
  • Serve hot or cold.
