Vegan Cabbage and Sausage Soup

Great Soup for any day, quick and easy to make


Serves 4 - 6


1 small cabbage chopped
1 small onion chopped
1 package polish style vegan sausage cut into 1 inch pieces
4 cups filtered water
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper fresh ground
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil


  • Saute chopped onions till translucent on medium heat. Add fennel seeds, saute for about a minute.
  • Add cabbage, saute till tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Add sausages, saute for another two minutes. Add water, salt, pepper. Simmer covered for about 10 minutes.
  • Check for salt, pepper, add as needed. Serve hot.
